You can find decent hoods on Etsy. Regulation.co.uk actually makes my favorite hoods. Great quality and fit. I think you can get one with micro-pore perforation for that blank-face look.
Furryjoi also makes great hoods but they are made of stretchy silicone.

They're fun! And they actually do a really good job of showing off just how amazing your suit really is. Slipping in the mud just makes it all look more real. ^_^
