Granted I haven't touched the series in a while, but then the fortnite season happened and I just got reeled back in. Now I'm starting to binge watch the whole thing. I really find classic simpsons to be funny and charming, and I find Homer to be a comfort character in an odd way

The Simpsons is just one of those things I grew up with. I played the games a lot, the simpsons area in universal was always my favorite part (aside from spongebob), I saw the movie in theaters, I used to get the burger king toys, and I watched the 24 hour marathon that showed a lot of the simpsons.

They had an episode where Homer dreamt about being Wario, so this makes perfect sense :)

It's probably because of "trunk or treating" which most of them are held BEFORE Halloween and in broad daylight because they're "safer" and "easier" and blahblahblah. Also probably because Halloween candy goes up in price every year.

While that may sound nice, it's not a pretty picture when you're a crazy ghost who gets his hands on a wishing star...
