This week, the Holberg Committee convened at The British Academy in London to agree on a shortlist of candidates for the 2026 Holberg Prize. The recipient's name will be announced on 17th March.

While the Holberg Week officially starts tomorrow, activities are already well under way. Here, Holberg Laureate Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak and Associate Professor Kari Jegerstedt are getting ready for the Holberg Conversation, which will be broadcast on TV and published on YouTube this autumn.
