I watched for the first time in a long while to try and catch coverage of James Franklin getting the HC job at VT but that’s been it.

People here are still missing out on what a proper high speed rail experience offers and in a space comparable to the Boston to DC corridor no one would think of dealing with two airport connections if comparable rail existed.

That’s true and fair, and more nuance is hard to fit into a skeet. A better frame would be places that are a short flight from Paris are more conveniently served by the TGV network and you’re better off with that choice much of the time.

Just spent two weeks in France for work and everywhere is a 2 hour train ride or less from Paris. So many people have no idea what we are missing in the US. Walk on, walk off, tons of space, beautiful scenery whipping by at a smooth 200 mph. Or you could be folded up in the back of an RJ900.

As a WV native, I’d pay to go back to this era. What a great pull from the back catalog.
