On the Girl Guiding front there already is an alternative in fairness - Scouting - open to everyone compulsorily across all sections since 2007.

Scouting in the UK has been compulsorily open to all genders since 2007; Explorers has had females since 1976 and between 92 and 07, girls could join but groups could remain boys only if they wished. The one I was in had girls from I think 2004.

Also one of the few occasions where a game show is spun off from the bonus round of another, and AFAIK the *only* international adaptation of it. Agreed that it's VERY Hazelhurst-esque.
