This man has spent his entire career making works that focus the monster. And as always, he nailed it. This movie is beautiful from the set design to the music and the cinematography. It is a gothic epic worthy of Mary Shelley's legacy while telling her story in a different way. 2

The cast is all incredible, in particular Oscar Isaac as Victor and Jacob Elordi as the creature who are both phenomenal. Victor is vain, driven by ego, and not a good person. The creature is innocent, beautiful, and full of rage. I love this film so much. 2

Their partner is a former street rat rogue & The story swaps POVs between them as they fight to get back to one another until the POVs finally align & they collapse into each other's arms before standing side by side & kicking the ass of the villain. 2/2 #booksky
