I am citing an article from Teen Vogue in an article I am writing. It is on the Greensboro Massacre on Nov 3, 1979, and how it was pushed back in the news due to the seizure of the US Embassy in Tehran on Nov 4.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

I am heartbroken 💔 Flew to San Antonio this morning to see a dear friend who has been struggling with cancer. He died this morning before I got here.

There are people whose kindness, generosity, and heart stand out above all others. Reza was that person.

Where my father lives, the nearest box box is thirty minutes away, and local food choices are very limited and not high quality. I was pleasantly surprised to walk into the local store and find this line of products now available...and mostly organic and non-gmo. I hope the business model succeeds!

In the new year, I can not just wish for peace and understanding, I will continue to work for it. When we think of peace, we tend to think on a global level, which we need to do. But, we also need understanding and education to create peace in our communities.

I was in Doha, Qatar at the Doha Forum when Assad fled. We were in a panel on Syria when it happened. It is a complicated situation that I have discussed with media, but I am happy to see Syrians happy on this New Year's Eve...morning for them.
🤯 Damascus, Syria tonight.

2025 will be the first year free of Assad tyranny since 1971 — more than half a century.
