Aha! I’m very much loving its durability and it being so lightweight makes fir a good tree decoration 💚

Maybe that’s why it holds together better? Idk. Someone who knows more about clay feel free drop your knowledge in the comments 🫶

I’m currently making another batch out of the same clay that ✨didn’t✨ crack, found some white stuff of the same sort that I’d forgotten I had, and upon further investigation realized that the stuff that doesn’t crack is paper clay.

Rest easy, Kitten.

It’s always hard to say goodbye to a beloved pet - especially those old ones. It definitely marks the end of an era when they move on from this world

A few years back we had to let our cat Dog go (she was also 19) and it made day-to-day life feel so different. Sending love 2 you

And BIG REVEAL: you can catch me vending in person at the Scott School Maker’s Fair in NE Portland on December 6th from 10am-1pm 🎁

I’ll probably hang a few of these in trees around NE Portland in the weeks before Xmas as freebies. I’ll be sure to let ya know when that happens

The first batch of ornaments was made with the second clay shown in the photos and surprisingly, even after several days of drying and a layer of varnish, is still somewhat pliable.
Huh

It’s incredible and humbling to be capable of creating art and I’m so grateful to exist with the ability to make little guys & stuff.

No lie: making art is a never ending learning experience with an endless supply
of combinations of styles and materials and infinite possibilities spanning the beginning of human creation to no doubt the end of it
