I had a wonderful weekend at the CheffTreff summit in Hamburg. 5K future and current entrepreneurs attended. I was happy for the invite to provide some tips we learned during the development of our #DeepTech #BioTech, @ambiotech.us at the "Lab Bench to Market" stage. Germany is in good hands!

I recently returned from the BioCAT beamline (APS), working on my projects related to MyBP-C and titin, and Nic Engels / Devin Nissen collected some last pieces for their PhDs. Dylan Reichert had his first MyoSAXD experience! Funding from German Research Foundation (DFG) and NIH (keep funding!!).

@ambiotech.us on the lookout to hire some #MuscleScientists on a short-term, muscle small-angle X-ray diffraction project in June / July in NY. Must have work permission in USA and must have permeabilized fiber mechanics experience. X-ray experience not mandatory. Full travel plus pay. DM me!

While the funding environment is going through significant stress, let's remind people of the science. We are the first users back to the newly upgraded (USD 1 Bil) APS synchrotron (funded by DOE) at the BioCAT beamline (30 years of continuous NIH funding, for free user access and support).🧪

Up at the Hamburg beamline breaking down and packing up some equiptment components for our trip back to BioCAT beamline at Argonne National Labs! Electronics already sorted and waiting. Plus tissue. 3 suitcases worth of supplies coming across the ocean. We looking at MyBPC, titin & ANKRD1! #MyoBlue

I am not being dramatic. There are a crazy amount of new regulations being put in place every year. As a small buisiness CRO with grants, we have no compliance / grant office and do it all ourselves. A lot of the regs are a waste of time / waste of people hours to manage/implement.

What a fantastic research run at P03, PetraIII, DESY! We studied human heart tissue with diabetes and HCM (@droch.bsky.social ), and a mouse heart with a point mutation known to cause disease in mice. Data to follow! #Myoblue 🧪🔬👩🔬👨🔬

Khoi Nguyen (@ambiotech.us) visited the Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source (CHESS) to hang with beamline scientist Estelle Yee and learn about their functionality for future muscle projects. This gives us 3 synchrotrons in the USA and 7 worldwide to do muscle Xray science (so far). 💪♥️🧪🙌
