Played through Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil for the first time in like a decade.
Around 5 more hours of Doom 3 action on par with the base game's quality. Plus, it adds the super shotgun!
Nothing quite matches Doom 3's atmospheric, close quarters, adrenaline-pumping horror.

Oblivion Remastered is really pretty to look at.

I've always struggled to get into the Serious Sam games because I prefer strategically placed enemies to hordes of enemies running straight for you but I played through Serious Sam 3: BFE over the weekend, realized the hordes are strategically placed, and ended up having a blast.

I enjoyed Phantasy Star Online on Dreamcast back in the day but could never get very far playing solo. After all these years I finally got a chance to play online and it is such a cool experience.

#JustCompleted Turok: Dinosaur Hunter for the first time. While not quite a Metroidvania like Turok 2 (no unlockable abilities), its focus on exploration makes it one of my all-time favorite FPS games. It'd hold an even higher spot if its sequel wasn't somehow twice as good.

Yes please. The AoA releases are some of my favorites. I'd especially like to see Havok, Bishop, Polaris, and Abyss. Also X-Force vol. 3 Warpath, Archangel, and Wolfsbane would be great.

Here's my PlayStation 2024 Wrap-Up.
It's funny to see MK11 highlighted since it's only my most played due to its absurd platinum grind.
But it's still my 2nd favorite entry in the series after MK9 and I had a lot of fun getting the last of the trophies this year.

I finally upgraded to a PS5 and the first game I bought was Starship Troopers: Extermination.
I've dreamed of battling the Starship Troopers bugs in an FPS game since seeing the movie when I was 13 years old.
The massive battles are accurately recreated and are just as fun as I'd always imagined.
