Watched a Jr high orchestra to play for YYM (The Planets.) He loves young people, was so thrilled he grabbed a cello & played w/them. Tears all around. If I was going to stalk someone it would be YYM. He’s a good person.

Connect w/yr local League of Women Voters. They’ll register/educate/and help you motivate your group. Non partisan but there’s nothing partisan abt empowering voters & defending democracy. Let’s get folks registered, explain why voting is their responsibility, motivate them to go to the polls.

Words matter. Using that terminology implies legality and it is not legal to arbitrarily change the name of a government agency. There’s a process, through the US Congress. So stop giving credence to behavior that is not legal.

I always default to the “you never know what people are going through” mode. Everybody gets a pass no matter how slow, rude, or wrong. I don’t criticize any staff for anything. They have enough to deal w/without me dogpiling on. And I tip as big as I can afford.

I was in a public library with the LWV registering/educating folks about voting. Watched a librarian sit w/a guy at the community computer to help him renew his long haul trucker license that he needed to keep working. Libraries will save us if we let them.

Notice he didn’t deny he did what she said, he simply said he “did nothing wrong.” How the board could have voted to keep him…what is wrong with people??

I can’t find it but there’s a quote from Day of the Locust that says something about there’s no point in grieving the loss of beauty because those left behind have no memory of it and thus are satisfied with the lack of beauty. Describing the new architecture in Los Angeles I think.

No way Cuellar is going to let this keep him from voting w/Rs whenever he wants. Go after him. Remind voters it doesn’t matter abt the pardon, the evidence was still bad enough that he & his wife were indicted. TX Dems, PRIMARY HIM.
