Tonight we had mushroom pies... with celeriac, potato, sprouting broccoli and pea mash... This company sells the best pies we've ever bought... including quite a few tasty vegetarian options...

Last night we had a fabulous night out... at the coldest gig we've ever been to... in an old steel works near the incinerator... I was so glad I had wrapped up warm to get there... well worth going to...

It's amazing how infrequently you have to replace a light bulb these days... I'm relieved that the one that went today was an easy one... there are some light fittings that I can never remember how to open up...

I made a pan of dahl on Saturday... I somehow managed to make 8 extra portions... I have now eaten it every day for the last 6 days... and amazingly didn't get bored by it... but I am relieved that we have just eaten the last 2 portions... it's probably one of the few things I could eat every day...
