I think the solution is systemic unfortunately, the pressure and praise we put on college football athletes to defend their honor at all costs is what started this whole event. Emotion regulation and mindfulness would’ve gone a long way for both teams and the police in this scenario I think.

Is it in their contracts that they aren’t allowed to celebrate their victories against their rivals? Guess that applies to the Ohio state play who started ripping the flag up too then?

And an appropriate consequence is pepper spray by the police? Yikes.
