We'll see in the next few days if the med changes do much. And if NDIS will keep funding the overnight care 🤞

How did you do it? I honestly think I'd give myself stomach ache if I made a fuss and suggest she bring her own food 😬

I'm also the one who does all the Christmas shopping because she's "so busy", mum is disabled and dad runs around after both of them, and my uncle,and hates shopping.
So yeah. I'm fed up with always being the giver, but it's just in my nature to not make a fuss and I don't know how to change that 🤷🏼♀️

I on the other hand work retail, hate it, had to move back in with my parents to try and save for a house deposit, and yet when I suggested I sleep in her spare room for one night over the weekend (so I didn't have to wake up every time my uncle made noise in the next room), I was met with excuses.

She is an adult, but my mother will tell me not to be so selfish if I suggest my sister brings her own food... I'm always the one that has to compromise, my sister is very much a "taker"
She has a well paying job she loves and is good at and her own house

The extra painful thing is that even if we just have a meal at home together on my actual birthday, I don't get to eat what I want cos my sister is gluten free, won't eat tomato, capsicum or cheese, or anything that is grown underground. So we'll end up having something she can eat 😞

To clarify. I do love him and I want to find out what's wrong and for him to get better, but it's just so typical for me to have to be pushed to the side while we deal with it.
