Same here. Between record shop and label jobs over the years, it’s really not going anywhere as a format. As a listener, it’s almost best sound quality format - imo. I love vinyl and tapes too, for what it’s worth, but the sound quality argument always tips to CD for me

For what it’s worth, Pissgrave & Deafheaven are nailed on for me. I also revisited that Scarab album recently and it’s honestly everything I adore about hardcore, fast, pissed all the way off & authentically punishing.

Highlights felt a little slimmer this year, but there has been gems encountered.

Once again remembering life’s too short surrounding yourself with dogshit that doesn’t inspire you and exists solely to frustrate and prostrate.

Anyways, onto the new Ragana and Drowse as that looks exciting.
