Great work this month! 10, 11, and 27 were my favorites!
I found myself thinking this month that the way you do expressions is on point and resonates whether it's dramatic or comedic. Very animated without actually being animated. I'd like to pick some up myself.
Have a happy Halloween!

You did awesome work throughout this month! I was impressed you executed on this creative theme (The Seagulls and Pulp Forgery were my personal favorites). Have a happy Halloween!

But whatever you do, unless it's magically changing which arm the blade is on, it sounds like you might be the first person to do it in 2D. I can't find any examples of people making this work in anything but full-on side view... Wish you luck!

Another option: maybe lean into having it feel different attacking opponents on either side? Allow them to have different ranges/animations? While it wouldn't actually be cause=outcome, it could lend to the player a feeling of having to fight with an unbalanced body

It would require you maybe reign in how far he reaches out on the right and show his back on attacks to the left? I'm also assuming your *hurt* box for this character isn't so specific that it'll matter his body being slightly differently oriented between attack facings

I hope you find an answer to this problem. After digesting it i see the headache. It feels like if you care that the hit point is the same number of pixels out, your character would need to exert himself more to attack facing left?
