Fuck the people who want to be assholes and blame it on everything else except for the real reason:

"I know I can get away with it, and therefore I shall."

Stop pretending it makes you enlightened to be a piece of shit in public.

Take some responsibility over your own behavior.

It's not okay because you're drunk. It's not okay because they're an away team. It's not okay because it's football. It's not okay because you used to be Mormon and you're in your feelings.

It's not okay to be an asshole.

If you want to defend making a public spectacle of total strangers because of your unhealed, unmanaged feelings of guilt for what you said and did when you were Mormon, that's on you.

It doesn't make it any less pathologically anti-social in ways that hurt you more than anyone else.

Chanting "Fuck the Mormons" at a college football game is anti-social behavior, specifically calibrated against a group of people who cannot respond in kind without being called hypocrites.

Well, guess what.

I don't believe in that.

I Morm with the best of them. And I say Fuck.

This is really about punishing people for how you think they voted.

It's a stereotype you invented based on your own biases.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. 43% of Ada County voted for Kamala Harris in 2024.

That's a lot of Mormons, myself included, who didn't vote for Trump.

To say that someone deserves to be the subject of widespread public ridicule because of who their ancestors are is an out of pocket, wildly eugenicist thing to say on a Wednesday morning.

Yet here we are.

When we both know that's not what this is really about.

You have a charting system for a reason. I worked in medicine. I know exactly how much of everything you're supposed to chart.

If y'all can't be bothered to do your jobs, I'm gonna take it out on you. Full offense intended. Have the day you deserve.

I had one relative with gradual decline of regular dementia over a long period of time, and the aggressive declines of vascular dementia that progress quickly.

By the time you get to this point, the person requires round the clock care, and doesn't know who they are a lot of the time.

I know they're watching you, and that means they're also watching me.

There was no sense in keeping Saturday evening since they got rid of the gendered meetings.

They weren't using the time to improve any kind of women to men speaking ratio, so why bother? I'd rather have the time back.

Update on the hockey parents:

One complained in their review they couldn't use the outdoor pool during their stay.

And when he got locked out of his room, he wouldn't even look at me when I made him a new room key.

He was in the wrong conference room.

We have multiple conference rooms adjacent to each other with walls that collapse and expand to meet different size needs.

He wasn't even in the right one. And when he apologized, he did so to everyone but me.
