Once, someone was ordering via their EndNote library and every single one we had. It kept coming in! I finally got on the phone and told them how to look up stuff in our collection with and without EndNote.

So we will probably go forward with plans to move our Teams OneNote notebook content into LibAnswers internal FAQ. AT least it's searchable! I suppose if AI magically becomes eco friendly, the FAQ can be exported. That was a close one! (2/2)

The email they sent had the wrong link and the correct link they sent me redirects me to the author dashboard and I've cleared cache and everything. Maybe I'll restart my computer. So annoying!

This inundation is dreadful, agreed. I was observing a colleagues AI literacy class for grad students yesterday. An activity had them go to a part of the room depending on yes, no, maybe if they’d use GenAI in their research/writing. 0-yes, 20% maybe, 80% no. 1/2

Correct. But many publisher policies don’t allow the AAM to be deposited, requiring payment if APCs to make it open and compliant. Their lack of 2024 mention is confusing.

Maybe I’m just simply excited?
