I hope one day my partner and are surrounded by community again to hold and be held by on days like today. It's a heavy thing to carry alone.

A solemn trans day of remembrance to those who observe today.

On days like TDOR I grieve for Trans comrades murdered by the fash and the non-state fash, but I also grieve the Trans communities that have abandoned me and enabled abusers by doing so.

I grieve the way we could be holding each other in community and aren't.
