Can't see the point in Scottish Nationalists defending the BBC. It's far to the right of our political culture, a barrier to independence, and will be replaced by a Scottish service in due course anyway.

I am convinced that Keir Starmer has in common with Hannibal Lecter the characteristic that, no matter what he does, his pulse never gets over 85. In fact, it probably hovers around that level even when he later denies that he did it.

We fly to mainland Europe twice a year to visit my wife's family. In 2023 we made the mistake of flying out from Belfast but back to Dublin. Now our son's child benefit has been stopped because HMRC thinks we emigrated, and they want two-year-old boarding passes to prove we didn't.

Watched Katy Radford on UTV Live. She managed to put her foot in it twice, referring to "minoritised ethnic communities" (they have always been minorities) and saying that Pól Deeds and Lee Reynolds can do their jobs w/o her because they are adult males (presumably an ironic accusation of sexism).
