Every flashbang could instead be a meal for a poor kid. Every hotel room for a National Guardsman deployed to fire at our neighbors could house a homeless vet. Every "less-than-lethal" bullet pulled from a journalist's eye could be already needed healthcare for anyone else. All of this is a choice

As awful as this, the focus on whether the woman was complying obscures the more important issue: in a democracy, there should not be armed agents demanding to see papers of every passing person.

It fails at something that Metroid Dread excelled at: bringing a contemporary design ethos to a classic without reinventing the wheel.
For better and for worse Metroid Prime 4 feels like it was made in 2007.
This makes the level design fun but the combat awful. It leaves me wanting to play the Metroid Prime remake much of the time, since it has nothing new to offer of its own .

So far Metroid Prime 4 is very linear, which makes it all the more aggravating when the mouthy guy, with subtitles and dialogue turned off, stops all gameplay to tell you that you need to go and do the objectives.

So the mouthy guy in Metroid is indeed a major vibe killer. I've muted the dialogue for now and might kill the subtitles as well. I've never needed these in a Metroid game, really
