IBM already makes a killing on their "business" with EUropean governments & companies.
For true European #DigitalSovereignty, we need to not base an EU linux, on US tech, but on one of the European distros, or Debian or Ubunto. No need to help IBM more, than we have for 50 of US-tech-tex extortion.

Being beta-testers for IBM is not the quality it once was.
Avoid that by choosing a different distro without US and US corporate links, like Ubunto, Suse, Debian etc.

Assembly of components from far away is not production. Look at a map. S Korea is close to China so if anything happens it will have to direct all production to its national defense.
