Largely comics.
Hiking. History. Occasionally, even my actual fields of study.

I also made...arguably, too many pumpkin pies. They had homemade ginger snap crust.

We had a course "we're not calling it thanksgiving, but we want to cook and eat together".
I made the bacon maple sprouts. And the pumpkin pie.

I saw this shrimp shaped and coloured cloud a few days back.

Spoiler free review for AbsWW 14.

Not a perfect balance, but this is what I've got to this year.
Could likely do with more fiction, given this doesn't include anything I've read for pure academic reasons.

I think my big sibling enjoys editing my work

I spend a lot of time thinking about Berry's model of acculturation (2005) and how, despite folks heavily pushing for assimilation, it's integration which is repeatedly shown to be better for the wellbeing of all involved- including the State.

Thought bubble pick ups. I'd highly recommend zooming in on the Si Spurrier IOU.

So because of my hair growing out, I decided to slick it back rather than try and constan-tousle it, but it's ended up giving "Diane, 10:44 am, November 15th."

Today's academic quote which made me laugh more than it should have.

Looking forward to talking about this one with @lookingqueerly.bsky.social

There were these random, perfectly ripe strawberries sitting in the hallway outside my flat this morning. Do we think it's an omen of some form?

So, I put up an ootd to see what folks thought I'd study on basis of looks and sociology is definitely the closest, but the middle school English teacher one is a remarkably exact guess, given that's what I thought I wanted to be at 20.

I'm not sure who's giving you info, but it's inaccurate.
Tamaki and Valero-O'Connell were there, spoke, and were listed on the press info.
Ram V wasn't there, but sent in a pre recorded video. Him and Camp are also men of colour, which especially given the state of things, feels important.
October 11, 2025 at 6:28 AM
Ram V is also not white.
Nor is Tamaki (who's also not het)- who, along with the other female writer, Grace Ellis, was weirdly excluded from the presented lineup.
DC could and should do better, but let's not ignore the folks who are there.
October 10, 2025 at 11:21 AM
The four titles I'm most excited for out of DC's new/old imprint with Vertigo.

They they proceeded to kill off and bring back Steve Trevor at least five more times.
