Longest run since Maidenhead half five weeks ago, I only do easy pace runs nowadays.
Even now, two days away from my 64th birthday, I struggle to reconcile myself with getting so much slower.

Maidenhead half this morning, just the 32 minutes slower than the first time I ran it but very happy to get round a half these days.

Drove past the runners at Abingdon Marathon this morning - felt very nostalgic and a bit regretful as Abingdon was the first (2009) and last (2017) of my 18 full marathons. Really can't see me ever doing another

Came across these beauties yesterday, I was going to go back and collect one of them for lunch but have been told in no uncertain terms that we will not be eating things I've found in the woods

What's this? The Daily Express praising (albeit faintly) Keir Starmer?
And attacking Farage?
Am I dreaming?

Not saying I'm a competitive grandad but I ran Bracknell Junior Parkrun with my 5 year old grandson this morning and he broke his PB by more than 3 minutes.
