Excellent lecture today by @dcvanderlinden.bsky.social and Rebekah Ahrendt on the Brienne collection and 'Dirty Metadata and Clean Cataloguing'. This was the last lecture organised by the project. It couldn't have had a better ending!

Our HTR coordinator, Kristoffer, bravely participated in the Vasa ski race today. He did not win. We are looking into suspected sabotage and, maybe, corruption.

Our fifth hackathon is on, with manual correction of machine-read texts by Gustav III from the war with Russia, 1788–1790.

The job is done & the project is nearing its end. Today, project manager @mikaelalm.bsky.social & project archivist @johansjoberg70.bsky.social thanked two of our conservators for their excellent work, saving the collection for future use & making possible the high-quality digitisation of it.

Final meeting with our conservation team the other day. All 125 volumes are now done. Digitisation is soon to be completed and published, too. HTR work continues!
