The loss of actual snow days is disheartening. Sure, we have to make it up on the backend, but an extra day in May isn’t going to kill their souls for a bonus day in December.

Yeah, I figure as much. Even though I don’t have recordable access, I’m sure that they *could* (and probably do!) save things that *would* be recordable if they wanted to do so.

I just don’t want to have to replace the floodlight, but if I find out otherwise, I absolutely will.

Honest question 🙋🏻‍♂️

I have a Ring camera floodlight on my garage, purchased before this ICEstapo invasion. I have not renewed my Ring subscription, but the camera/floodlight still operates. Does this still capture data for AmBezon even without the subscription?

I once bought a CD of early 20th c. creole music which, upon hearing, my mother suggested I take out into the yard and bury it. Not everyone appreciates quality jams.

Frankly it isn’t Christmas until you hear Lou Rawls, particularly ‘Christmas Is.’

I could be gone for all of December and my kids (13 and 16) probably wouldn’t even be aware of it.

I like Funyuns, and gin, and I maybe even like eating Funyuns while drinking gin. But, that’s a ‘no’ from me.

I’ve been to Brown County, mostly in the fall when I was younger. We used to stop in a nut shop and get warm salted sunflower seeds and cashews. There was other shopping, but I remember that the most and a little place that sold miniature painted battlefield figurines.

Thank you for introducing me to this band. It provided the perfect soundtrack for my morning coffee on a Friday!

During our fellowship interviewing process, there’s a joke that we should make all our applicants stand up during the interview to see if they’re wearing full attire or just ‘Zoom-appropriate’ duds.

Beflounted. I am absolutely beflounted by this turn of events. It’s beflounting on so many levels.

Wow. A service showed up 45 minutes early for an appointment? Isn’t that some sort of record?

I didn’t say how long it took me, though. 😆

I just finished Proust’s work earlier this year. That was a yearslong endeavor and unless you have it on your bucket list, I don’t really recommend it. Although, I enjoyed the bulk of it, figuratively AND literally.

It is very difficult to sit with that book, among others, and accept the version of US history that we were spoon fed in school.

Cover to cover was a challenge, particularly as this was prior to ebooks. 💪🏻
