Over 50 years ago I used to climb the rocks at Stanage Edge in the Peak District. Today I returned for the first time, but with a bag of camera gear instead of climbing gear. Sunset was just about alright!

Spending a couple of days with a friend in Sheffield. So with a promising forecast I headed to Higger Tor this morning. This is the KitKat stones just after sunrise. Taken with my Google Pixel 9.

'Holding on' Cliffs of Yesnaby, Orkney. The start of 'Storm 'Barbara' back in 2016. Just managed to get the last ferry to the mainland before they were all cancelled. The ride back over the Pentland Firth was a rollercoaster! Stay safe folks an huddle doon! #Scotland #Orkney www.damianshields.com

Most of my creative architecture stuff is in black and white but I thought I'd try this one - another shot of the Gehry development in Battersea - in full colour. What do you think?
Prospect Place, a development of two blocks of apartments designed in an interesting style, rather like a hive, by Frank Gehry. This is presented in full colour with a sky edited to simulate a long exposure.

Next up is the fabulous Prospect Place, directly behind Battersea Power Station this twin block was designed by Gehry. I want to call it the human hive.
