Not a good argument though. I follow US accounts and know what to expect, but what's annoying is a random interaction where the other person assumes you're from the US and throws every one of their cultural reference at you like that's normal. Not helping that english is our lingua franca

Yeah still not a free pass for american defaultism though, that shit is annoying, the whole internet is run by US corporations (and most people speak english) (not talking about Thanksgiving btw I find it cute)
