This. And it doesn't matter how small it is. The loss of a pet, a person, it doesn't matter. Both are losing something you will never get back. Grief has followed me for 11 years & never gotten smaller. And I feel that's due in part to my own parent telling me she was done dealing with me being sad

This is freaking horrible. HOW is this better?? Like....at all?? It's like trying to make toast using a blender. It doesn't work, it's a horrible idea, and it CAN'T DO IT. Not when there's a tool perfect for the job already. i.e. EVERY HUMAN PERSON WHO MAKES THIS POSSIBLE.
