I once got on a bus with a toddler and a baby and a folded buggy. Toddler fell asleep so we stayed on the bus till the terminus, waited for it to turn round and come back to my destination. By then toddler had woken up and could walk off the bus, while I carried the buggy and the baby. Happy days!
