Pop star Sabrina Carpenter slams the White House for using “Juno” in an ICE arrest video:

“This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.”

Every Republican sits somewhere on a line that extends between ignorant and evil. In the case of ignorance, it's mostly willful, which is a form of evil. So really the line extends from lightly evil to heavily evil.

It really isn’t said enough how much these people straight up hate America. People should say this a lot more frequently. They simply don’t like the good parts of modern American life.
"Sources in the Trump administration have previously told Zeteo that officials will at times intentionally use popular music from vocally anti-Trump performing artists, in order to trigger a negative response from a famous liberal and provide further amplification of their pervasive culture war,"
NEWS: The Trump-Vance White House is attacking Sabrina Carpenter.

In a new statement, the White House — led by Trump, a liable sexual abuser mired in scandal for ties to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein — suggests Carpenter is "stupid" and is defending pedophiles and rapists.

This is DEFCON 1 priority, y'all. Call your senators, reps, call your friends and tell them to call their senators and reps about this. Call your grandma and tell her to call her senators and reps about this.

What we have here will be *gone* if these bills pass.
Congress is attempting to fast track KOSA and more than a dozen bills that would restrict internet access, censor speech and increase surveillance under the guise of protecting children.

Committee hearings begin tomorrow.
Lawmakers to consider 19 bills for childproofing the internet
KOSA is back, along with more than a dozen other bills that will erode free speech and privacy in the name of protecting kids.

Contact your reps directly.

I keep seeing stuff about a petition and like, contact your reps directly. Sign that too if you want, but petition signatures are a lesser priority.

vpn's are not a good long term solution, but there's SO MANY ways to get around this, some trivial, some not. as long as there are cables connecting any two points, there will be a way to communicate. the question is how much damage can we stand before people realize it.

prob so larry ellison and co can make bank off of selling everyone's data. that's not going to work because this is america, and we HATE showing id for anything. if the gov ACTUALLY tried to age gate the net there'd prob be violence. people are already circumventing it now where in place.

In an age where you have to put your government issued I.D. to any site, the possibility of anonymity becomes systematically impossible

This will not stop at porn. They are already using “protect the children” rhetoric with trans people existing, and it will extend far beyond us.

This is already extremely bad, but you can mitigate surveillance capitalism by creating more anonymous accounts, using a vpn, using advanced data protection, not downloading surveillance apps like social media apps, and poisoning your surveillance data by throwing in lies.

Lets say you are an outspoken advocate against the current regime, and you have a decent following but not much political power. Companies buying and sharing your UUID could give access to all corners of the internet made to blackmail or embarrass you or dox you to violent pardoned jan 6ers.

I think it’s worth explaining why this is so atrociously bad.

Currently under surveillance capitalism, which is what we have in the u.s., you have a UUID, a unique personal identifier. They package everything they think they know about you into that unique identifier.

They’re describing it as a “shock and awe” campaign, which is why it’s essential to show them there’s huge opposition NOW. Call / email your reps to let them know you oppose censorship bills like KOSA and the SCREEN.

Read up and get involved in the @fightforthefuture.org Week of Action.
With SCREEN Act and KOSA on the legislative block this week, there couldn't be a better time for Fight's "Stop Online ID Checks" Week of Action.

Today's action: Share and sign the petition.

The absolute kicker to all of this is that most of the solutions they are seeking already exist on your phone. They just need to be enabled by parents.

But, no, they want to bring an East Wing demolition crew to everyone's internet because no one can be bothered going to "settings."

Almost 100% of this is the government realizing that if young people can see their war crimes and etc they will turn against the endless war machine that is the United States and its economy. The rest is a desire to make queer people vanish and queer kids be tortured in silence

Mention the Discord Leak in August.

Mention how the Roblox CEO said kids should experience pedophilia and gambling on his "game".

The internet should NOT be parenting kids. Tell parents they need to stop being lazy about setting up safety!
