Old and tired but still walking. Author of the "Histories of Asfáleia" epic fantasy series. Currently working on Book 2: Stone’s Call.
Sometimes the epigraphs are the icing on the cake of a fabulous book ☺️

Been a while since I enjoyed a video game as much as I’m enjoying Oblivion Remastered. Played the hell out of the original, looks like I’ll be doing the same with this version 😎

Beautiful editions as a belated birthday present. Problem now is that they need to go on the shelves, which means a lot of reorganisation and something having to be taken off the shelves (which are already overfull). Decisions, decisions 🤔

Actually I think that quote is from the sequel, Another 48hrs. In fairness, it’s the better film in many ways.

Quote this with your fave Nicholas Cage film. I’m going for the more profoundly ridiculous end of his output.

Conqueror's City, Book One of the Histories of Asfáleia epic fantasy series.

The horns of war blare out across Asfáleia, deafening in their riotous clamour. The Kingdom of the Rutik is on the move, their destination the noble city of Tarsus, ancient and storied capital of the Achaean people.

“The Standard Template Construct (STC) systems were complex analytical and processing programs, artificial intelligences, created during the Dark Age of Technology (M21 - M23). They are said to have contained the entirety of human technological knowledge up to that point.” Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum

Green are the ones I already have, yellow I just ordered. The only one left in white is "The Last Hero", which I can't find anywhere. I may just have to pretend it doesn't exist!

Please don't judge me for how much money I just spent to fill out my collection of Discworld hardbacks. I mean, look at them - they're so pretty! It would have been a crime to leave the collection unfinished 🙂
