Even D&D has become infected. It's like the Internet elevated all this stuff I loved when I was young, but it also elevated all the hate. It's not a new take, but today, for some reason, it just really upset me.

The graphics have got a character that I feel has been missing from the last bunch of titles, so I'm very excited

I disagree, but that's my opinion, and you've yours 😊👍

So you believe he is free of any responsibility for running that show? Of the choices made? If a person takes on the task of being the showrunner, they should be prepared for taking on everything that comes with it. If the show had been amazing, does he not take responsibility for that?

... James Gunn doesn't miss? That's honestly all I've got 😆

Well, having not watched any trailer since the first one, I've chosen to stay away from the marketing. I am coming at it as a Superman fan simply looking for a new adventure.

No one does, he has to accept responsibility that the majority of choices he made were not smart: From introducing a wife for Perrin, to fridging her in the same episode, completely changing Perrin as a character, to unnecessarily killing Siuan, a lot of choices were made that just didn't make sense

Your incurable optism is infectious, I myself lived in hope that maybe each episode, each season would get better, and they did, but not enough. Season 3 was good, but there were still cracks that were there since the inception of the series, and though Rafe doesn't deserve the full level of hate

And you don't think Gunn, a man who always has something to with his films, won't do that?
June 12, 2025 at 12:57 PM
Possibly, but the story choices come down to him ultimately, and those were, in my opinion, what ultimately made the series so weak at times. The actors were well picked, the costumes were great, and the sfx got progressively better. Every showrunner has to accept this burden for good or ill.
