Anyone know if/where you can get an #Aldovia Acorn ornament from @netflix.com #ChristmasPrince?

The #SendGrid phishing attacks are relentless. And some are quite believable. If I actually had a SendGrid account I might almost believe some of them!

Every year, I carefully roll up the Christmas lights and neatly put them away in their boxes.
And every year, when I get them out, they're a huge knotted mess.
How does this happen?!?

This option was turned off in my Gmail and Workspace settings, but I opt-out on so many AI options.I may not remember changing this particular setting. I don't want AI "helping" me, stealing my data or touching anything on my computers, tablets, etc.

Check this setting immediately, friends!
Gmail can read your emails and attachments to train its AI, unless you opt out
A new Gmail update may allow Google to use your private messages and attachments for AI training. Here's how to turn it off.

I've just started a new game of Baldurs Gate 1. Dwarven Cleric of Tempus.
I've not spoken to Gorion yet. And I've broken two warhammers already!

Whatever is in those files ?

Happened to HUMANS

because we can not get our shit together about folks boundaries being respected

The refusal to handle misogyny to acknowledge we chose to ignore it

KILLS AND TRAUMATIZES folks every damn day and may dismantle this country

And it’s not funny

I can't quite work out if Trump calling for GOP to vote to release the Epstein files is because:
- he thinks they still won't but he's trying to look innocent
- he now believes that he'll get away with being a proven pedophile
- he's forgotten he's a pedophile
- his handlers have forced him to

For anyone who's seen Don't Tell The Bride (out of choice, or otherwise) - which is the worst episode? We can't decide between:
- Hollie And James - car park roof
- Hayley And Ben - hot tubs

But there are so many bad ones to choose from...

Who else thinks that someone suggesting Epstein isn't a pedophile because he "wasn't into 8-year-olds", but instead "liked 15-year-old girls [...] that could pass for even younger than they were" is potentially a pedophile themselves? 🤮😡

I find it both amusing that Kelly Sutton on @arcountry.bsky.social still refers to the other place as Twitter instead of X, and yet also appalled that they're still on there given the state of it these days...

Coming back to #rust after a stint working with Go and Node. The language is much better, but the developer experience isn't quite as good. Especially around testing within #VSCode :( And in particular with the Test Explorer extension.

Where, if anywhere, are the decent #RPG #PbP sites or apps these days? And are any of them any better than just forum posts?
And is there much, if any, interest in this kind of thing any more? Or has everyone just accepted the move to real time play on discord/video/etc?

I'm watching #Woodcreek episode 2 on YouTube. I'm 22 minutes in, and I've just had my 6th advert interruption! (Well,5 interruptions and 1 before it started.) Only 5 seconds for each of them but it's still a bit OTT...

On the other hand, time and brain power aren't exactly in high availability right now...

We all know that Mike Johnson is refusing to recall the House because he knows this will ultimately lead to the Epstein Files being released.

We're all assuming that he doesn't want this because - as we know - Trump is in them.

But what if it's because Mike Johnson is in them himself?

When we say to tax the super rich, what do we mean?
Let's start with anyone worth more than £95 billion. Why that number? That's the total prize payout of the national lottery - not just the jackpots but all prizes - since it started over 30 years ago.
There are people worth more than that...

Does anyone have any recent experience of #SkyStream as compared to #SkyQ?
I've heard some horror stories but they're all quite old so I don't know if they're still the case.

Out of curiosity - if you're starting a new project, how do you come up with names? In particular, internal names whilst it's being developed.
These tend to get everywhere in the project - eg repo names, Java package names, Go module names, etc - and so I'm curious how people choose them...
