Last fall we covered our patchy, crappy lawn with cardboard, topsoil, and mulch. This spring we raked the mulch off and spread wildflower seeds. Now I've got a wil lawn buzzing with bees, hover flies, dragonflies, and all kinds of things.

First cut flowers of the season! We moved a lot of things around this year, redesigned four garden beds, so it was a little slow to get going. I'm having a rough pain and panic day today, but this helps.

It's my MIL's birthday today 🎉
This project has three stitches that I've never done before, so it's been slow going. I got six more rows finished today and I'm almost at the end of this section.
It helps that it's hard - I can't think about anything else but keeping track of where I am and what I'm doing.

My MIL and I are tackling a project in the backyard - building a 12x12 gravel patio so I can use the fire pit she bought me for my birthday. Shut up, this makes perfect sense! Anyway, we got the wooden frame finished this morning!

Day 2 of anxiety knitting and I finished the first stripe section and moved into a lace section with bobbles. I had to really pay attention to each stitch, so it's not as soothing as the stripes were, but the times has flown by and my heart rate is down!

Mosquitos are out after all the rain we've had lately, so I made some pots with natural repellants. Lavender, marigolds, safe, and lemongrass.
