This NYCFC fan still can’t wrap his head around the name of FSU’s quarterback.

Oh, and Go Gators.

In other words, an order that was not even given to the SEALs when they killed bin Laden.
SCOOP: For the Trump admin's Sept. 2 strike targeting 11 men on a boat suspected of ferrying drugs, SecDef Hegseth gave an order, officials say, to kill them all. When two men were still alive, orders were given to strike again, finishing them off.

Hegseth order on first Caribbean boat strike, officials say: Kill them all
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth issued a verbal order to kill all crew members in the Sept. 2 strike on a suspected drug boat. Navy SEALs fired a second missile.

Just saw on MLS Wrap-Up that Maxi Moralez has now started 38 straight games, regular season and playoffs. That’s tied for 7th most in MLS history.

Dude turned 38 at the start of the season.

The amount of fouls that Philadelphia has committed against NYCFC tonight is egregious.

The ref has only awarded one card on 16 fouls, and there were more that were waived off for advantage.

No big worries for Philly. “Rick” is coming into the game.

Today, NYCFC and the Gators kicked off at the same time. Early signs were good. My friend cautioned me by quoting from The Shawshank Redemption - “Hope is a dangerous thing, Andy.”

I replied with Emily Dickenson- “Hope is the thing with feathers.”

Some seasons, it’s the only thing that can make you happy.
A reminder for those that might be new to this: college football season IS Schadenfreude season

So happy to see James Sands get a deserved start tonight. He’s a great guy and a solid player. He’s competing in a position of depth, so nothing is assured, but he deserves the chance.

Also, Australia is starting his replacement in the midfield at NYC - Aiden O’Neill.

Really unhappy with how the Florida-TAMU game played out tonight.

To be clear, TAMU is a really good team. I’m not sure we beat them on the road more than once or twice out of ten.

But, Billy and his undercoached players made errors that kept us from even having a chance.

Watching Florida vs. Texas A&M.

ESPN’s production on this game is terrible. This should be a highly entertaining game. Lots of offense. Great atmosphere. None of that is coming through.
