The Gordon School is a small independent school in Rhode Island with an explicit mission of producing graduates who will go on to change the world. At every grade level, students learn to use their voices, and they learn to listen with compassion.
The Turkey Trot is a schoolwide celebration of generosity and cross-grade connection, led by the eighth grade.

Congratulations to everyone who made this the greatest Trot ever!

Families can learn how to help this effort at www.gordonschool.org/turkeytrot -

But today, they held their own with the grownups

And threw a party any host would be proud of.

A new tradition may be taking hold: fall brings pumpkins that become jack o’lanterns that become rapidly decomposing pumpkins that lead to… a cross-divisional pumpkin smash?

On Friday, the science team presented new Head of School Meredith deChabert with a pair of waders

The gift came with an open invitation to explore Gordon’s outdoors alongside our students.

It was not just a symbolic gesture.
