The thing about crows and Ravens is that you'll see crows and get used their size and then you'll see a raven and be like "damn, did a crow and a chicken have a baby because you're huge."

tl;dr: Bluesky began with genuine promise: a new social media platform where users could feel safer, but inconsistent moderation quickly eroded trust.

When systemically marginalized users pushed back, Bluesky’s leadership minimized concerns and began to target them for bans.

At least mercenaries entertain the nominal risk fo getting shot back at. This is exactly the sort of depravity that should lay to rest any doubt that a genocide happened and was intended to happen.

Boiled carrots are underrated. I'm not saying they're an S class veggie or anything, but I think they definitely deserve some discussion of A tier inclusion.

Children deserve equal rights (including the right to vote) and are the group that is actually subject to the most oppression, both deliberate and otherwise, by members outside of that group.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Message to all faculty: your school's Board of Trustees have never trusted or valued your expertise and never will. Wealthy people mostly do not value the skills of their staff, they think they can always buy another person with those skills. This is one critical flaw in the modern university system
Message to all faculty: your expertise is no longer trusted or valued at this so-called “university.”

You are never too old to enjoy sledding. Or rolling down a hill. And anyone who tells you otherwise is a sad soul trying to bring you down to their level.

I love how the White House decided that the best way to dispel any idea of Trump being a pedophile was to have a bunch of kids hang out with him at the White House.

If you make it easier to pirate than to consume legally, you will simply end up with more pirates, not less consumption.

I loved Fallout New Vegas, but I am extremely tired of game studios, Bethesda in particular, not making any new IP and just rehashing remake after remake of games old enough to have their own driver's license.

the geomagnetic storm is on the wane now

any uncomfortable/unpleasant physical effects should improve fairly soon, maybe another day to recover

normal to feel achy-painy for no apparent reason, to have an unusual malaise, headaches, one man felt nauseous

it'll be fine, just too many photons 😇

I think white nationalism everywhere can be explained pretty simply: imperial collapse. We are witnessing the end of white dominance around the world as first China and then India catch up and Asia simply goes back to ignoring this minority of people who have nothing to offer them.

Cannot stress enough how unsubtle they are being about it nowadays. The wealthy would rather have an authoritarian dictatorship than not be in power. If they can't be team captain, they aren't just taking the ball home they are also salting the fields so no one else can play there without them.
