Such a brilliant, beautiful movie.

My kids (24, 23, 19) are all huge E6 fans, and they each have several E6 fan friends (locally, that *weren’t* raised by me!) There is so much to worry about, but thankfully, this isn’t one of those things. Yay, kids!

Beautifully said. It’s such a huge loss. I’m so sorry.

The perfect holiday crime! (Now I’m just concerned whether or not they’d know which direction to channel their ire. I might have to give them a mysterious geography refresher before next November.)

I’ll give you the credit (right before they stop talking to me!)

My kids have never experienced the old-timey joy (?) of ambrosia…maybe I’ll make that next year and hide the pies until the next day.

Grown up kids took all the pies, which I was okay with last night. This morning I’m feeling the loss. I’d be happily having Dutch apple.

This has brought me so much joy this morning.

Innnnnteresting! I will have to give them another try.

I’m gonna have to argue with you on this one. They’re waxy and sad. They are fun to put on your pinky while you eat them, though, so points for that.

That’s such a great list! I’m so envious over so many of those!
November 22, 2024 at 9:35 PM
All sorts of terrible possibilities there!

This is so, so good (both song and photo.)

Usually, people just bury a horse’s head, heart, and hooves, but I don’t know the situation here. And yeah, I get it…I broke a sweat burying a guinea pig.

Thank you, mom. I’ve been wanting to visit for years, and it was perfect. There’s a nice article about the man and his mules here: amp.newsobserver.com/news/local/a...

One of the things I love as much as records! Thanks for sharing :)

And now I’m buying them all again, on LP (because I was ridiculous and let it all go years ago.) Analog everything, forever!

Louisville had (maybe has?) *such* a great music scene, and Slint is unquestionably the greatest.
For school trips, we’d go to weekend events in Lexington, and on Saturday nights, UK’s college radio station had a show called Psychedelicatessen. They played lots of S3, and it changed my life :)

Always! (Or at least since 1989 or so.)
