Happy 2nd Anniversary to Bakeru! 🎉🎉🎉
While I imagine that Good-Feel is disappointed with how everything turned out, it’s heart-warming to see just how much they have supported the tanuki. Bakeru has become their de-facto mascot and has spurred the company to try a lot of things, like merchandising.

It amazes me how long save batteries in games not called Pokemon last.
I just booted up Goemon 4, a game that turned 30 this year, and the save battery still works.

Ganbare Goemon 3: The Mecha Leg Hold of Jurokube Shishi (1994)
I can see why this one is divisive. Overworld sucks, lives suck, some parts drag, but I do enjoy it! Focusing on dungeon crawling & character swapping is a really cool idea and it makes for a uniquely fun time.
Light plateau.

2. It pains me that they removed the intro and Impact vocal themes from the English release.

I love how there's a Konami Shop where you can buy sets that change some enemy sprites into other Konami characters.
This is peak #Konami, no doubt.
