they are harder to find. it's a shame that tumblr went the way of the ad-riddled, pornography-banning dogs, because it's otherwise built for that sort of longform, philosophical community. from what I understand, a lot of people have moved into discord groups. that's where they get their community.

my best advice is to just find those who are unashamed in their interests, who take up space, and sidle up next to them. you'll quickly see who their friends are, who's safe, where the conversations are happening. all I know is that I'm struggling to find my place, too.
