It’s really fascinating seeing the differences in mindset between men and women. A while back, I noticed a lot of mainstream media that had women as the MC followed this mindset. The stories weren’t about them changing for the better, it was proving everyone else was worse.

A month ago I wished that we had more shows like Arcane. I wish I could still say that, but from a writing perspective it went off the rails way too much by the end. This story clearly needed more time to cook to perfection like S1!
At least the art and the music weren’t too disaffected…

Gladiator 2 was like a 7/10 to me. I enjoyed the overall plot, Pedro and Denzel were peak the entire time, but everyone else’s performances were too middling.
Like with the main character, I wasn’t able to buy any of the speeches he gave his soldiers and that’s kind of important for the story!

I don’t agree with Shadow of the Erdtree being in the running for GOTY, even though I loved it. If that can make it, why didn’t Shadows of Liberty last year? It should’ve been put in the best ongoing category imo

What really sucks about Tyson vs Paul is that you clearly see something was up with Mike’s legs. His style requires a lot of bending for explosive movement and with a bum knee, that ain’t happening. Didn’t have him winning but I was hoping he’d perform better

If I see someone advertising with AI, it turns me away from the product. I guess non-artists don’t notice it enough to care, which is unfortunate…

I always consider an adaptation an overwhelming success if it gets me to read the source before it’s complete. Dandadan is one of the few that not only got me to binge the manga, but the whole time I got more excited to see it animated! This week’s ep solidified it for me. I love this series lol
