My wife's under the weather today and her voice is pretty weak...so I told her to just text me from the bedroom when she needed something, to save her voice. I guess my alert sound wasn't on when I received texts...so here's what happened:

My wife and I watched JAWS tonight on Netflix.Still a great film. There's a lot of quoted lines you hear often, but this one is a Chef's kiss; Chef Brody is afraid of the water, when asked why he would live on an Island, he says, "It's only an Island if you see it from the water"...brilliant.

I took these photos during my morning neighborhood walk in DTLA. The tags you see were results from the main protesting that occurred right here, in a very small section of LA. Unlike the national propaganda, If you didn't live within these few square blocks, you'd have no idea what was happening.

I'm watching the latest Dr. Who episode, THE WELL...and I'm thinking, I guess Russell T Davies is an ALIENS film fan. The whole beginning and arrival on the planet made me think, nice homage to ALIENS. Then one of the characters makes an ALIENS quote...ahh, I was right. WELL played.
