It was a happy childhood, even if when she was older - often snuck away to explore either around or inside the Necropolis. As she’s not a mage she could not become her adoptive mother’s apprentice, she eventually applied to join the watchers.

No. There are characters I like less but I don't completely despise any of them. At least not ones that are generally beloved.
