I’m so amped up after the successful protests yesterday and I don’t mean to seem naive, but I have to wonder as I start a new day…what’s next? Did we make a difference? Where do we go from here? Will anything change?

For me it is the media I am most disappointed in-they are either half reporting or completely ignoring all the insanity, lies, blatant manipulation and cruelty spewing from our government-normalizing behavior that should not be tolerated!
I agree, the media are not doing their jobs. Where is Jake Tapper in calling out Trump’s mental and physical decline which is quite obvious?

Lately I’ve been feeling some sort of a way and it’s not good-reading all the like minded posts on Bluesky is great and uplifting, but outside of that Trump keeps getting away with all these awful changes and no one is stopping him-I’m feeling like we’re in a hole we just can’t get out of😔

On the anniversary of my mom’s death day-I remember her as a survivor of Nazi Germany and then a proud US citizen raising her children to be kind and accepting of everyone! This political atmosphere would be devastating for her so on behalf of her I vow to never forget!

What started as an innocent conversation with an older woman about the price of bananas turned sour when she said “wait and see he’ll turn everything around” I held my tongue bc I was taught to respect but now I’m mad at myself-I think those days are over-I won’t hold back anymore!
