"Election day 2025 was just Democrats winning in blue states, nothing surprising."

"TN-07 has a Cook PVI of R+10. Last nights results were right in line with that."

The thing with being an obvious hack like Nate Cohn very clearly is is it makes you predictable.

There is no way in hell if this were a 15ish point shift right in a deep blue seat, Cohn would call this a "modest but clear win" but his pro-GOP narratives always come first ahead of everything else

Hard to think of a bigger example of a state that regularly votes against its own economic interests bc its obsessed with culture war grievances instead. Future Democratic presidents should remember this next time theyre tempted to spend political/economic capital there like Biden & Manchin did.

John Roberts has had a profoundly malignant impact on America and deserves far more recognition for that than he currently gets.

I didnt realize that CA pulled the trigger mechanism out of Prop 50, which means itll go forward even if the Texas maps stay struck down. Absolutely hilarious. Republicans have on one to blame for this but themselves.

A reminder of what the NYT actually finds to be a punishable offense bc they are not an org dedicated to upholding the tenets of democracy or journalistic ideals, they interest is in defending the status, positions, & reactionary goals of the already powerful.

Boy it sure is interesting how news orgs frame breaking news chyrons like this in a way that gives the opposite impression of whats going on than it should. Reading this you'd have no idea Trump is deeply implicated in Epsteins crimes & is trying to desperately to distract from that.
November 14, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Flippant remarks like this come from a place of believing that the only way we win back men os by leaning into their bigotries, which apparently starts with letting a guy that kept a nazi tattoo on his chest for 18 years & said bigoted things online for years be the Democratic senatorial nominee.
November 14, 2025 at 4:09 PM
I've been vocal in my criticism of both Schumer and Durbin but you cannot point to either Senate Dem leadership or Yes on the CR votes on this map for next years senate races bc they dont exist. Who are they gonna primary?
November 11, 2025 at 1:20 AM
btw, to point out something that might not be obvious, but they do not have "November and December" to work on this. November is nearly half over and the remaining days the House is slated to be in session in Nov will be for the CR. December has a grand total of 12 days where the House is in session

Its actually bad for a political party when they do bad & unpopular things that voters hate & will respond negatively to.
