Still reeling from the Stanford report on Brexit. Reduced GDP by up to 8% and investment by as much as 18%. The UK Treasury would have £40 billion more each year if Britain had remained in the EU. Devastating self-immolation.

There's legislation before the Virginia General Assembly that would create a paid family & medical leave program, but it will live or die on the fiscal impact statement. Will agency staff draw on states that have taken charge of their enabling software (Maryland), or those that have spent a fortune?

SCOOP—In August, nearly 200 current/former FEMA staffers published the Katrina Declaration, a whistleblower letter detailing all the dangers posed by current leadership.

All current employees were put on indefinite leave, and now I've learned one has been fired in violation of federal protections:
FEMA employee terminated for signing whistleblower letter
It appears to be a major violation of federal whistleblower protections and constitutional rights.

Would genuinely love to see all of the commitments Trump nominees made that turned out to be lies. It would be vastly longer than Republican Senators who have denounced them for those lies.
RFK Jr had committed to Bill Cassidy, as a condition to win his vote, that he would keep website language.

Cassidy in February: “If confirmed… CDC will not remove statements on their website pointing out that vaccines do not cause autism.”

Note the language in second photo.
