One of my uncles was a train engineer. Single guy with lots of money who lived simply. He always wore work pants & flannel shirts. Every year he'd buy a new car with cash & donate his "old" car to someone in need. Can't tell you how many salesmen lost commission cuz they judged him by his clothes.

LOL! My dad was like this. I always need to quietly walk into the morning but if dad was on afternoon shift he loved getting up with us, making breakfast & seeing us off to school. Only problem was that he never shut up. My mom was always saying, "Max! Leave her alone. She isn't a morning person!"😂

It's holiday market season! My major item is aprons but I also like to make a bunch of inexpensive gifts and stocking stuffers. It's been busy but lots of fun. Well, not so much fun last week when I finally put the needle through my nail bed. Sigh.

October was a bad bandaid month for us. We had so many wounds requiring bandaids. My rotary cutter was trying to kill me!

It's just my husband and I and we usually buy a turkey breast from Walmart. We get three dinners from it, plus extra for sandwiches or a small pot of soup.

LOL, I'd be afraid to go to sleep if I failed to get a pup cup when the Lab and I were out.
