The way this whole admin is now openly using plain Nazi speak to legitimise murder and terror is becoming increasingly disturbing.

These fanatics are out for war:
Can't wait until he's convicted of murder. 💥

Mercy Thompson, by Patricia Briggs, books 12 and 14 are on my TBR (I accidentally skipped 12 and then it wasn't available for some time).

And The Anxiety of Kalix the Werewolf (Kalix, #3), by Martin Millar.

There is literally footage of the IDF executing these two Palestinian men in the West Bank, after they surrendered.

There's no "appear" about it.

Pocket- and ebooks mostly, and find that the older I get the harder it gets for me to read paperbacks in bed, yay for ebooks on that front.

Don't really do audiobooks much because there's a only few narrators I found which I find easy to listen to, both in terms of voice and their reading speed.

Larry is my beautiful princess. I've so rarely had such a photogenic cat! She's gotten fluffier for the winter, I think. Or she's just fat, idk.

Not a fan of cliffhangers when I have to wait a year or longer between books, but I they are okay for shorter publishing periods.

And once saw an author advicing to end each chapter in a story on a mini cliffhanger to keep the reader hooked, all that does to me usually is getting me annoyed.

ICE arrested the mother of Leavitt’s nephew, and the comment from her brother makes it hard not to wonder if the woman was intentionally targeted.
"A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts."

No phone (well, a housephone) but I have an ebook reader that is going in its 13th year, I'm sure Sony and the economy hate me for that. :D
My phone is doing all the same things from 2015 with only minimal benefits. The only reason we have to upgrade is increased software bloat.

We should actually just have phones that last 15 years now.
www.cnbc.com/2025/11/23/h... "please, buy new phone. the economy is dying" is an incredible gaslight

This is not just a current political issue. Charging & punishing these particular perpetrators is vital to keeping the fight against the ongoing abuse & killing of women & children by men in the spotlight. "Me Too" was only a start.

I think it’s pretty clear at this point that one of the main impacts of LLMs is to disrupt thinking: to make it so that far too many people never properly learn how to do it, and then to control the output so there are thoughts that people never learn how to think.

Ah the days when "Who shot J.R.?" moved the world, simpler times.
As J.R. Ewing, Texan Larry Hagman was the only actor to appear in all 357 episodes of "Dallas." I only mention it because Larry died 13 years ago today, on Nov. 23, 2012. He was 81 years old.

Had to google Nuzzi, and ... seriously?
With RFK jr.?

Like yeah, can't argue taste, but... SERIOUSLY?
I think we all have to ask ourselves what we would do if Zohran left his wife to be with Olivia Nuzzi. I would learn the clarinet - I feel like that instrument would be able to express what I felt
