Just brilliant
I’m down at the Oxford Street car free day and I can already tell this is going to be an exceptionally joyous event. I’ll share some highlights!

Best thing to happen in the UK in 50yrs
Ermygadddd, I’ve been on Oxford Street with my daughter today as it’s been traffic free.

What a total buzz 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

All we could hear was people chatting and laughing, and not ONE engine. It was delicious. And of course people are here in huge numbers. … 1/11

Possible causes of your problems. It’s a diagram that (sadly) still seems relevant in 2025, so reposting a year and a bit on.

Starting November 1st, New Mexico will become the first state to offer free universal childcare to all its residents.

It's expected to save families over $12,000 per child annually.

This is a huge step forward — and a reminder that we have the power to fix the system.

“We have bears, coyotes and snakes around here, but by far the biggest safety concern for me with my kids is cars.”
The number of children injured or killed by cars while walking or riding a bike has fallen steadily since the 1970s, but CDC researcher note that this decline is not because streets are safer, but because fewer kids are out and about in the first place.
Kids need freedom. Dangerous roads make it hard to grant it.
Bigger cars, distracted drivers and worried parents mean fewer kids are roaming freely.

The extremely simple fact is that Jeff Epstein was the most notorious child sex trafficker in history, and the President of the US was his close personal friend for decades

Acting like this is complicated is absurd. The man knew what Epstein did, didn't care, and participated

Randomly chosen suburban house.
It is more than 50yrs old. It has a huge lawn front and back with no privacy. All told, $4800/month payments. Rentable though for $3000. That means the $1800 difference can be invested at 6% over 30 years =$1.7m.

My schooling involved documentaries about South America where men were disappeared, tortured etc. now a South American man is talking about that in the U.S. Land of the free? Justice? Rule of law? Decency? Well of course not. Because it was the U.S. that sponsored those regimes.
Pause for three minutes and soak up the grace of this man.

Earlier today, the father of three U.S. Marines, Narciso Barranco, spoke publicly for the first time after being pinned to the ground and savagely punched by ICE agents while they arrested the landscaper outside the IHOP where he worked.
